Ammunition terms used in AmmoMarkets.
A short reference for ammunition terms that appear in token symbols and descriptions.
Caliber The internal diameter of a firearm barrel, used to identify ammunition size. Examples: 9mm Luger, 5.56 NATO.
FMJ (Full Metal Jacket) A bullet with a lead core enclosed in a harder metal shell. Used for target practice and range shooting.
Grain (gr) The unit of measurement for bullet weight. One grain equals 1/7000 of a pound. Example: a 115gr 9mm bullet weighs 115 grains.
Round A single complete unit of ammunition — case, primer, propellant, and bullet together. One round = one shot. In AmmoMarkets, one token = one round.
