Redeem

Redeeming converts your ammunition tokens back into physical rounds, shipped to your doorstep. Unlike minting, redeeming spans both on-chain and off-chain actions.

Step by Step

1. Select caliber and amount — Go to Exchange → Redeem, pick your caliber, and enter the number of rounds. Redemptions are in increments of 1,000 rounds — the minimum is 1,000, then 2,000, 3,000, and so on.

2. Approve and confirm — Approve the token spend (one-time per caliber), then confirm the redemption. Your tokens are locked in the contract. The on-chain deadline is 7 days.

3. Sign in if prompted — You may be asked to sign in with your wallet (SIWE) to attach shipping information off-chain. This is a free signature request, not a transaction.

4. Enter shipping address — Provide your U.S. delivery address. Redemption is available in 39 U.S. states — see Delivery for the restricted state list. If you've redeemed before, your last address is pre-filled.

5. Fulfillment — A keeper accepts the order and ships your ammunition via UPS Ground. Typical fulfillment is 5–10 business days plus UPS Ground transit time. Track the order in the Portfolio tab.

Self-Rescue

If the 7-day on-chain deadline expires without a keeper finalizing, you can cancel the redemption directly from the smart contract. Your tokens are returned to your wallet automatically — no support ticket needed. This is a trustless safety mechanism built into the protocol.

Don't Want to Wait? Use Swap or Exit

If you want cash instead of physical ammo — or you can't redeem (international users, restricted states, or positions smaller than 1,000 rounds):

• Swap on a DEX for the fastest cash-out, at the current pool price.
• Exit is the backstop when the DEX can't give a fair fill.
