Shipping

How physical ammunition is shipped after redemption.

Carrier

All ammunition shipments go via UPS Ground. This is not a preference — it's a requirement:

  • USPS prohibits shipping ammunition through the mail
  • FedEx has restricted ammunition shipments
  • UPS Ground is the standard carrier for commercial ammunition shipments

Air freight is not used for ammunition shipments.

Coverage

  • 48 contiguous U.S. states — all states except Alaska and Hawaii
  • No international shipping — U.S. domestic only
  • No P.O. boxes — UPS Ground requires a physical street address

Packaging Requirements

All shipments follow DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations:

  • Corrugated cardboard boxes — sturdy outer packaging
  • Limited Quantity labeling — diamond-shaped marking per DOT 49 CFR
  • No air eligibility — packages are marked ground-only
  • Weight limits per package per carrier requirements

Delivery Timeframes

UPS Ground delivery depends on distance from the warehouse:

DistanceEstimated Delivery
Same region2–3 business days
Cross-region3–5 business days
Coast to coast5–7 business days

These are estimates. Actual delivery times may vary based on UPS operations.

Age Verification at Delivery

Federal law requires age verification for ammunition purchases. Our delivery partner verifies age upon delivery:

  • 21+ for handgun ammunition (9mm)
  • 18+ for rifle/shotgun ammunition (5.56 NATO)

The recipient must be present and meet the age requirement to accept the package.

Tracking

Once your order ships, tracking information appears in your Portfolio. You'll see the UPS tracking number and can follow your shipment's progress.
